Can I do all the things while doing nothing?

Hello, fellow beings on the path,

This week you’ll find me in a funny spot.

I’ve been waking up thinking about work—what I want to offer, create and share with my community. Five minutes later, I’m overwhelmed with how much mundane work needs to get done—cooking, child-rearing, cleaning, laundry etc. Then I close my eyes and wonder if I have time to watch tv or read for 10 minutes before I’m needed in the world.

Some other questions I’m sitting with at the moment:

  • Can I go big while lying under my duvet?
  • Can I tick off what feels like the endless tasks on my to-do list while rolling around on the ground with no goal in mind?
  • Can I cook all the meals for the week while I fantasize about the pizza in my freezer?
  • Can I continue creating and sharing with my community and minimize how long I spend on social media?

What would you add to this list? Are there any opposing feelings you are currently sitting with?

I’m excited to be in Shadow School this month with you. Here’s to a month of diving into the uncomfortable, exploring the feelings/thoughts/ideas that have been sitting on the sidelines just waiting for their opportunity to be heard, and surprising ourselves with questions and answers we never knew we had.
