A transformative spiritual experience— Sadhana translates as ‘realization’ from Sanskrit.

For the inaugural 7-Day Sadhana Series, we’re featuring mantras and short movement practices for you to feel clear, grounded, and more attuned to those around you. 

Mantra is a powerful tool to focus your mind and attention on a specific word or phrase. Chanting mantras help you release positive energies into the universe.

Mantras may decrease stress and anxieties and calm the mind and body. Mantras are shown to slow down the sympathetic nervous system into the parasympathetic nervous system—meaning, your body moves from fight or flight mode into rest and digest mode, where you feel more calm and creative. 

A scientific study from 2016 showed that mantras have the power to improve mood, attention, and social cohesion. 

You can move with more awareness and integrity with the seasonal shift into fall with a daily ritual of mantra practice and short yoga classes to break up the lethargy and get your blood flowing. 

This Mantra-focused, 7-Day Sadhana Series includes a daily mantra class and a yoga class featuring Lila Flow Yoga, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.

When I work with a mantra, I focus on the sound, not necessarily a meaning. The way mantra was initially taught to me is to enjoy the sounds and how they reverberate in the body. Through the sound, there’s an opening. I find that mantra also helps prepare me to sit for meditation.

Finally, I offer PLENTY of modifications and suggestions based on injury in all the platform classes.
