Hi, I’m Clara. 

Welcome to my virtual community, where I dive deep into what it means to live yoga and create a lifestyle of intention, compassion, and wellness. 

I came to this practice twenty years ago in New York City, where I’m from, and practiced Jivamukti Yoga. 

My passion quickly evolved and guided me to teach classes, workshops, retreats, and my own 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training. I’ve been lucky to have spent the past thirteen years teaching and training yogis all over the world. 

I currently live in Vancouver, BC, with my business partner and husband, Alejandro, and daughter, Karmen. In 2019, Alejandro and I launched the Practice with Clara Apps and Platform to establish a virtual community with my students from all over the world.

Community is my dharma; it’s what I love to share and co-create with others.

The classes I offer on Practice with Clara are fiery, playful, and intelligently sequenced to lengthen and strengthen complimentary muscle groups.

I want students to leave class feeling empowered in their practice; I offer ample modifications in each class to accommodate yogis of all levels. 

My intention, whenever I’m teaching, is for people to reconnect to themselves, to remember their own truth, and to embody their truth.

I hope my offerings inspire you to become more playful, compassionate, and stronger in body and spirit.

6. I’m Injured, Pregnant, or New to the Practice—Can I Join?

YES, no matter where you are at in your practice, there are classes for you on Practice with Clara. 

We’ve created playlists for beginners and those who are new to the practice.

We also have the Prenatal Collections with classes from the 1st – 4th trimesters that I created when I was pregnant with my daughter. 

Finally, I offer PLENTY of modifications and suggestions based on injury in all the platform classes. 

The biggest thing is to always listen to your body; your body is the greatest teacher.
