The Bhagavad Gita is a metaphor for wherever we’re standing on the precipice of a hard decision that we need to make. The conversation between Arjuna and Krishna is the questioning that we go through within ourselves. The narrative is, essentially, a tool kit on how to deal with intense moral decisions.

Hello fellow seekers of truth,
I hope this email finds you well.
We’re in the final four days of our 30-Opportunities Yoga Challenge and it’s been an incredible journey with you all. This week revolved around the theme of the warrior, which was so fitting considering what’s going on in the world. Steph and I unpacked one of my favourite books, The Bhagavad Gita, in terms of the warrior and some key themes that are still relevant today.
As we come to the end of the month, I ask:
↬ What does your inner warrior look/feel like?
↬ What are you devoted to in your life?
↬ What is your contribution to the greater good?
↬ How do you contribute to your community?
You can read Steph’s blog post to learn more about the key themes of The Bhagavad Gita and see highlights from our discussion.
Sending big love and a virtual hug,
Clara & the familia.

This slow-moving mandala/circular vinyasa practice asks you to dedicate your practice to someone, or something, outside of yourself. As you move your body, make your practice an offering. You’ll begin with prostration namaskars and strengthen the leg and core to build toward a peak pose with tripod headstand. Stretch the front of the legs, chest, and pelvis to assist with cobra pose, bridge pose, and wheel pose.
