Created for pregnant yogis, this class is ideal for anyone who wants a slow stretch and to open the shoulders, side body, and hips. Not just for mama’s, you can wind down from your day and stretch to release accumulated tension in your shoulders, back, and neck.
The benefits of a slower-moving class are it creates a meditative state. Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments. Clara will guide you through deep diaphragmatic breathing to help ground your practice and connect you to your body.
Rest with Ease will help to open your shoulders, back, and side body. Your Prenatal Yin Yoga class will create more space and length for you to breath more fully into your upper chest, the back of your heart, and the full capacity of your rib cage. Gently spinal undulations, hip opening, and inner thigh opening will leave you feeling at ease and calm as you prepare for your savasana.
Stay with your breath as you move and take as long as you like in each pose, especially where it feels like you need it most!
